Dear Underwater Lover,
Thanks for visiting my website. It is my hope that you will enjoy the photographs as much as I have.I started snorkeling at the age of five in Puerto Rico where I grew up. My first SCUBA experience was at the age of eight while visiting Grand Cayman. Early on in life I was an avid shell collector. Now, I have found that underwater photography still allows me to "take" from the reef without "harming" it.I started shooting underwater pictures in 1998 with a SEA and SEA MM II. Subsequently I have used the Nikonos II, V, and a housed manual SLR. My first digital camera fornunderwater use was an Olympus 3030 digital camera with a Tetra Housing by Light and Motion. Currently I shoot a D300 with a Sea and Sea housing and a comination of strobes. Professionally, I am an ophthalmologist who enjoys doing mission trips in the third world. Sometimes I'm fortunate to combine these trips with a dive or more. The photographs as well as the nomenclature for the fish are strictly amateur. I appreciate any constructive criticism and correction of nomenclature (particularly if with reference). Thanks for taking the time to enjoy the website.
